A Small Hack for Plant Care That Actually Works

I’ve been experimenting with self-watering plant pots lately, and these transparent double-layer pots with cotton ropes have quietly changed how I care for my plants.

The way they work is simple: the cotton rope soaks water from the bottom and gently feeds it to the roots. It feels healthier for the plants, and it’s surprisingly convenient, because you don’t have to constantly check whether they need water.

That said… it’s not perfect. The little hole for pouring water can be a bit frustrating, especially when you have many of them. I’ve got around 70 pots, and carefully filling each one can take a while. Still, I prefer it to overwatering or guessing.

Overall, these pots make plant care feel a bit less chaotic. For anyone curious, I got mine here.
